We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the industry for an entry-level Accountant in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing financial records, working on customer applications, and dealing with customer inquiries. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take any necessary action.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently handle customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Perform reconciliation of client transactions and activity daily.

• Generate or modify monthly activity reports.

• Cooperate with Finance, Implementations, Account Management, Accounts Payable, and external Processors to onboard clients in all relevant systems.

• Review cash transactions to match client activity.

• Secure necessary approvals for processing of remittance reports and payments.

• Conduct month-end balance sheet reconciliations for various cash and balance accounts.

• Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department and perform other general administrative duties.

• Assist with month-end closing process, annual audit, and other general accounting functions.

• Uphold confidentiality of company information.

Requirements • Entry level position; requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in account coding is necessary for this role

• Experience with accounting software systems is required

• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is expected

• Familiarity with Dynamics NAV is essential

• Understanding of ERP Solutions is crucial

• Capable of performing account analysis

• Able to handle accounting entries and functions

• Experience in account reconciliation is a must

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is desirable

• Must be able to perform bank reconciliations

• Experience in balance sheet reconciliation is necessary

• Must have experience with cash reconciliations
