Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: * Performs continual surveillance of multiplemonitors. * Readstelemetry test strips and places them in the patient charts at requiredintervals. * Identifiessignificant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.Identifiesandcorrects forartifacts. * Reportsabnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursingstaff. * Testsequipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
