Position Summary:

The Education Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Clinical Training & Assessment Center ( CTAC ) at the Cleveland campus. This position is responsible for coordinating and assisting in the planning, implementation, and management of CTAC operations. The coordinator will report directly to the CTAC Coordinator for the Cleveland campus and will receive indirect supervision from the Director of Experiential Learning.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the Standardized Patient (SP) Program at the Heritage College local campus.
  • Recruit, hire, and train Standardized Patients (SPs) for use in Clinical Training & Assessment Center and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine ( OMM ) labs.

  • Supervise, assign, and schedule SPs, utilizing technology for efficient management.

  • Process payments for SP services.

  • Evaluate SP performance and utilization to ensure quality and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with the Heritage Director of Experiential Learning on projects to ensure consistency in CTAC operations and programming across all academic and clinical campuses.

  • Support additional initiatives, including student clubs and organizations, the Aspiring Doctors Precollege Program, and other college-requested projects.

    1. Assist in coordinating and providing support for activities within the CTAC across various learning environments.
  • Assist in the coordination of CTAC activities in learning environments including but not limited to routine coursework, Basic Life Support ( BLS ) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS ) training, bootcamps, simulation sessions, transition to residency programs, and student events.

  • Implement faculty-developed case materials and checklists for student activities focused on teaching and assessing clinical skills, using learning management platforms and other educational technologies.

  • Collaborate with college partners, preceptors, and physician contacts to facilitate simulation opportunities related to campus CTAC operations.

  1. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the timely and integrated development and delivery of course materials throughout all four years of the curriculum.
  • Work with faculty and staff to develop and deliver course materials efficiently and cohesively.

  • Support curricular initiatives, including student programming.

  • Manage operational functions such as assessments, evaluations, learning management systems, grades, and attendance tracking.

  • Assist with campus events and special programming for college events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 year of relevant professional experience

  • Candidates with training as an EMT , Paramedic, LPN , or in other related healthcare fields will also be considered.

*Equivalent combination of experience/education may be substituted

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Higher Education, or related field.

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills. Close attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Clinical knowledge and experience to effectively develop, set up and review processes of the medical simulation labs is preferred.

  • Experience in medical education and patient simulations, clinical evaluation models, and problem-based learning is preferred

Advertised Salary:

The approved hiring range for this position is $43,888 to $51,377. Offers outside of this range of subject to additional approvals. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position Pay is accompanied by our generous university benefits such as free tuition for self and dependents, a comprehensive insurance package including but not limited to:
