Oracle Cloud Infrastructure & Security Specialist in ATHENS, Greece
Job Description
What you will do
• Conduct assessments and workshops with both technical and business users to define and showcase the value provided by Oracle Cloud Security Platform.
• Provide advice and guidance to our customers and partners on best practices for their migration to Oracle Public Cloud.
• Become a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and Networking challenges.
• Work closely with customers, either from a technical or non-technical standpoint, to deliver a solution that fulfils or exceeds their requirements.
• Engage with customers to ensure service needs are being met and deliverables perfectly fit Oracle’s high-quality standard.
• Identify the current Security maturity level of Customers and define a Roadmap to take the full benefit of the adoption of Oracle Cloud Security Platform.
• Identify and address regulatory compliance issues and position Oracle Security Solutions to fill in potential gaps.
• Continuously develop and maintain the knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the constantly evolving Cloud platform.
• Participate actively in the internal community and proactively contribute to the growth of Consulting Intellectual Property asset library sharing know-how, experiences, and collaterals related to delivery experiences.
What you’ll bring
• Proficiency with Linux Operating Systems (such as Oracle Linux, RedHat, CentOS).
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with networking principles and technologies (e.g., subnetting, routing, switching, VLAN trunking, firewalls) and implementing them at network equipment or OS level.
• Understanding of storage concepts and technologies, including Linux iSCSI and Device Mapper multipathing.
• Familiarity with Cloud Native Technologies (Kubernetes, Docker/CRI-O/containerd, Helm).
• Solid understanding of common application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities and mitigations
• Good understanding of SSL certificates.
• Knowledge of protocols such as OpenIDConnect, SAML, LDAP, REST
• Experience with Identity federation against Azure AD, Okta, Auth0 etc.
• Experience in supporting compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP or NIST
• Proficiency in Python programming language and/or shell scripting.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with OCI foundation/core services and Landing Zone design.
• Familiarity with OCI OCVS service.
• Experience with other Hypervisors (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience in WebLogic administration & WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST).
• Experience in Web Server administration (Apache or OHS).

Responsibilities
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
