Active Ingredient Technician

Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for an Active Ingredient Technician to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

Pay: 21.50

Type of Job: Contract to Hire

Shift: M-F 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing the activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus/bacterial and cell culture techniques

  • Ensure compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.

  • Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills

  • Review of process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems, escalation of production flow disturbances

  • Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives

  • Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Preferred Biology Degree or related field

  • One year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
