Confidential Employer Welding Manager in Aston, Pennsylvania
Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks a Welding Manager. The welding manager will oversee and manage all aspects of welding operations at CRC. Two weld shop supervisors will report to the Welding Manager with approximately 40 welders, fitters, and utility workers reporting to the supervisors. The Welding Manager will develop and implement procedures and workflows and will work cross-functionally with other departments to meet production goals and continuously improve CRC's welding processes and procedures to meet the needs of our customers.
The right candidate will have:
5+ years of manufacturing management experience, including managing both direct and indirect reports
a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields and/or 10+ years of overall manufacturing experience
a strong background in metal fabrication including proficiency in mig and tig welding as well as advanced fitting experience
experience with aluminum and steel welding per AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1
strong computer and blueprint reading skills
excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels of the organization
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses.

Pay rate: $95,000 - $110,000
