Job Title: Concrete Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Technician to join our team. Experience in a production environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools, and follow instructions with minimal supervision. A good attendance record and a passion for working safely are essential. The candidate must also be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with concrete forms, rebar, and concrete finishing.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools efficiently.

• Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints.

• Perform carpentry and woodwork tasks.

• Place concrete and tie rebar.

• Set different types of forms and pour concrete.

• Operate stingers and vibrators.

• Perform manual labor and physical work.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools.

• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

• Good attendance record.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry and woodwork.

• Experience in placing concrete and tying rebar.

• Experience in setting different types of forms and pouring concrete.

• Experience in running stingers and vibrators.

• Experience in manual labor and physical work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
