RESPONSIBILITIES
Have responsibility for the integrity and management of the accounting ledgers
Responsible for producing the monthly financial accounts package within 4 working days according to US GAAP rules
Prepare and post monthly journals including payroll, accruals, and provisions
Perform Balance sheet analysis, P&L analysis and monthly Balance reconciliations including Payroll, Inventory & VAT as required
Preparation and submission of local returns, including VAT, Intrastat, Withholding Taxes, Enasarco, FIRR
Liaising with Global Business Services on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Intercompany and Fixed Assets transactions
Review Internal Control procedures (for SOX compliance) and assist with internal and external audits
First point of contact for the external auditors and prepare the local Statutory accounts and assist in the preparation of the annual Corporation Tax computations.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
A qualified accountant with at least 3 years relevant experience
A good knowledge of SOX, US GAAP would be advantageous
A good systems background in Oracle would be advantageous
Fluent in Italian and English
MS Office Suite - Advanced Level
Good understanding of the regulatory frameworks - Statutory and Tax
Good interpersonal skills with experience of working in a diverse environment
