Zantech is looking for a talented Acquisition Analyst to support our upcoming work with the Federal Government in Ashburn, VA.

The Acquisition Analyst shall assist, support, and provide guidance regarding acquisition and procurement processes and pre- and post-award activities with the DHS CBP. This includes acquisition strategy formulation, requirements analysis, cost estimating, and contract performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Award Support:

  • Assist in initial strategy sessions and document outcomes.

  • Prepare acquisition documents (e.g., work statements, acquisition plans).

  • Conduct market research to support the use of commercial items and services.

  • Formulate acquisition strategies and requirements.

  • Develop acquisition documentation and integrated planning.

Cost Estimation and Analysis:

  • Perform cost estimating and analysis.

  • Track milestones and timelines to meet acquisition expectations.

  • Establish a common procurement requirements baseline.

Post-Award Support:

  • Prepare options and assist with contract modifications.

  • Track contract performance against established goals.

  • Assist with contract closeout and lessons learned.

  • Edit, review, and finalize reports, plans, meeting summaries, and other acquisition documents.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in acquisition management, procurement, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in acquisition and procurement software and tools.

  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and provide actionable insights.

  • Experience with contract management and performance tracking.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)

  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), the minimum investigation required.
