Job Title: Electrician Helper

Experience Required: 1-2 years in the commercial field

Job Overview: We are looking for a committed Electrician Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in new commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring.

• Pull and run wires in new commercial construction projects.

• Install circuit breakers and other electrical components.

• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans.

• Bend and install conduit using pipe benders, including PVC, steel, and carbon metal pipes.

• Troubleshoot existing wiring to determine usability.

• Utilize basic hand tools and drills effectively.

Essential Skills

• 1-8 years of experience as a Commercial Field Technician.

• Proficiency in working with PVC pipe, conduit, and wire.

• Experience in bending and installing conduit, including EMT for commercial projects.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring them up.

• Competence in pulling and running wire.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical plans.

• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have all required hand tools.

• Must provide your own PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and safety vest.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Experience with MC Cable is highly preferred.

Work Environment

You will be working on a new construction project in downtown Thomasville, both indoors and outdoors, facing varying weather conditions. The role involves working alongside other skilled professionals, ensuring a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, Georgia.
