Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Safety Manager to design and implement safety regulations to minimize the risk of injuries or accidents on the Platform to support an O&M contract in Doha, Qatar.

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct safety audits and inspections daily to ensure the personnel, equipment, and materials comply with government safety regulations.

• Evaluate, assess and alter safety policies and procedures.

• Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies.

• Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for OMSS contractors.

• Lead injury and incident inquiries and evaluations.

• Track incident metrics and apply findings.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or another similar field.

• Possess an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)’ Safety and health fundamentals certification.

• 5 years’ experience as a safety manager for facility maintenance or construction.

Work Environment

• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
