Position Description:
As a part of our global Aftermarket Overhaul and Repair (O&R) service team the O&R Project Manager Project Engineer will support all Overhaul and Repair orders (paid and warranty orders). O&R PM/PE provides factory support to our customers and channel partners and communicates with internal departments, necessary for the repair of customer's Sundyne pump or compressor to ensure on-time delivery is met. The engineer will become technically familiar with all Sundyne products and work closely with customers providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, failure analysis reports and identifying potential engineered solutions for customers.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Acquire technical knowledge of all Sundyne products to identify potential hardware upgrades on customer equipment when a unit is in for service.
Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained by delivering exceptional customer service to our customers (internal and external) and channel partners.
Prepare repair quote packages and present them to customers.
Ensure repair quotes are competitive with the market and customer expectations on delivery
Determine proper routing of the repair job through the shop with appropriate hours for each task.
Plan, process, track, status, report and expedite all job routings, both paid (repairs and conversion) and warranty, throughout the Sundyne manufacturing process. Providing status updates to customers and management on
Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of job site and internal department personnel.
Collaborate with all Aftermarket departments providing technical, production, and product support.
Coordinate customer witness testing and inspection with production. Escort customer during these witness activities.
Ability to work on multiple high priority jobs at the same time.
Troubleshooting and failure analysis of malfunctioning equipment.
Perform job functions following all safety regulations and processes and take all required Sundyne job safety training courses.
Completion of specific projects assigned during the year.

Prepare technical proposals complete with inspection sheets, as received hardware and appropriate testing requirements.
Provide technical support in for order execution with internal and external customers.
Ability to troubleshoot failed hardware to provide root cause failure analysis.
Interface with vendors as needed.
Mechanical aptitude.
Computer proficiency in Word, and Excel
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
