Actalent Office Manager in Armonk, New York

Manage and oversee daily office operations, including administrative support, office supplies, and equipment maintenance. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff. Maintain office records, including employee files, project documentation, and financial records. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence. Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient communication. Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees, managing timesheets, and coordinating training sessions. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations. Provide general support to visitors and staff as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of civil engineering industry practices and terminology.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of an open workspace promoting interaction between employees. The partners value feedback and maintain a non-authoritarian approach. New employees are expected to be on-site five days a week initially, with work hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch break (lightly enforced if not abused).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
