We pride ourselves on maintaining a fleet of well-serviced, reliable trucks. We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our vehicles and trailers are kept in top condition.

Job Description: We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate should have a background in maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring vehicle safety. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including but not limited to, oil changes, greasing, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as brakes, bearings, and seals.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Mount and dismount tires.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Be able to clean up between jobs and during downtime keeping the shop in an orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and applicable systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
• Will be required to reach, climb, twist, crouch, kneel or stoop to perform job duties.
• Must be able to safely work in all weather conditions.

• Background in trucking is preferred, but not necessary.
