Position: Technical Product Management Specialist

Location: The Boeing Company, Arlington, VA

Job Duties:

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Conduct research to determine customer needs and to create strategies for the development of products. Plan project stages, assess business implications, and propose budgets. Work with subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements for products. Monitor project progress, deadlines, quality, and cost targets. Provide technical guidance to team members during the development of products. Manage product backlogs. Guide the development and execution of test cases to validate acceptance criteria. Perform product demonstrations for customers. Develop and implement marketing campaigns related to products. Stay up to date on technology trends that impact product roadmaps.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 9 years of related work experience, of which 5 years are progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Must have 9 years of experience in software development, technical program management, or software architecture development.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps (ADO); and

• Agile and Scale Agile Framework (SAFe).

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Managing DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes;

• Utilizing at least 3 of the following DevOps tools: GITLAB, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or Ansible;

• Application modernization;

• Microservices and container-based technologies;

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification required.

100% telecommuting permitted; candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. $165,779.00 per year.
