Amazon Sr Product Manager, AWS Certification in Arlington, Virginia

Description

For over a decade, AWS Certification has enabled skilled AWS technologists to showcase their cloud skills and helped employers identify and cultivate AWS cloud talent. As we look to evolve and grow the program, we are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager who will innovate and identify new opportunities that will broaden the reach of our program and deepen our engagement with customers. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, evaluating the performance of the current portfolio, and identifying opportunities for attracting new candidates. You will define requirements, analyze data to develop strategy and make business cases, and help determine prioritization and manage the roadmap. And you will collaborate with peers and leaders on other teams - including marketing, business development, and go-to-market - to drive adoption.

This role is cross-functional and your success will depend on your ability to influence others. You are expected to create buy-in for our products and evangelize for our team across internal and external stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Dive deep with customers to understand the opportunity and identify the quantifiable business outcome. Translate the customer problem statement into product definition.

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer data to formulate hypotheses and run experiments. Use the validated learnings to iterate and continually increase value for customers.

  • Partner closely with go-to-market, business development, and marketing teams to drive AWS Certifications adoption.

  • Write detailed business cases and requirements to deliver to leadership and other stakeholder teams.

  • Be the voice of the customer and a champion for AWS Certification candidates; engage directly with our customers and field teams to understand their needs, use cases, and priorities.

  • Leverage your understanding of the customer and business goals to innovate; define a vision and then align teams all the way to delivery of that vision.
