The Global Customer, Industry, and Partner Marketing (GCIPM) organization is seeking a talented, self-directed Sr. Marketing Programs Manager to manage cross-team strategic marketing initiatives and global execution strategy for global marketing management processes. This role will serve as a key member and SME on the GCIPM Strategy and Operations Strategic Initiatives team focused critical, large scale, cross-functional initiatives designed to advance marketing measurement capabilities. Specifically, this role will be responsible for: 1/ developing the annual GCIPM global marketing measurement strategic initiative plan, 2/ managing all aspects of deploying a holistic operational approach to marketing measurement across GCIPM, including enablement plans to drive adoption, and 3/ optimizing performance/progress to goals and operational KPIs. The person who fills this role should be experienced in managing complex, cross-functional programs, including using data to identify opportunities for driving efficiency and impact, developing new ways to foster collaboration, and influencing as a trusted advisor and consultant to extended marketing teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and own the global GCIPM marketing management strategic initiative plan
• Drive cross functional collaboration (Marketing Data Science and Engineering, Area Marketing, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, etc.) to develop execution plans
• Stand up and/or optimize mechanisms for gathering requirements and representing business needs for marketing measurement products
• Dissemination of key updates and marketing measurement technology launches to area marketing teams, geo marketing operations, and other stakeholders
• Work closely with area marketing teams to drive adoption of global strategic initiatives in their respective regions, providing internal program education, assets, communications, etc.
• Monitor, analyze and optimize mechanisms, adapting and iterating based on region behavior and needs

Basic Qualifications
6+ years’ relevant experience in a business-to-business (B2B) marketing operations function
Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate business problems in simple and data-backed narrative format
Proven analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Quick Sight) and use hard data to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce, Tableau and/or Marketo
Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
Team player and leader with the ability to influence, work cross functionally, build relationships with key stakeholders and thrive in collaborative fast paced environment
Problem-solver with analytical skills, strategic thinking, business acumen and ability to find creative ways to optimize performance
Experience building new programs, mechanisms, working backwards from opportunity identification.
Proven ability to drive end-end work back plans efficiently

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
