CACI is currently looking for an Sr. IT Project Manager (Infrastructure) with SAFe framework experience to join our DHS customer located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
What You’ll Get to Do:
Work with a team of Azure infrastructure architects and engineers in transitioning and delivering infrastructure products and services using a scrum-style approach. The Sr. IT Project Manager (Infrastructure) responsibilities include:
Support the team in achieving daily, sprint, and program incremental goals and delivery objectives
Implement, enforce, and continually improve SAFe Agile & Scrum practices.
Assess team's SAFe maturity and coach teams to higher levels of maturity
Provide mentoring and training for the team on SAFe processes, methods, and practices
Serve as a liaison to the leadership teams.
Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes
To be a coach and have a positive attitude.
Coaching, leading, facilitating meetings, holding the team accountable, being accountable for the process and the product.
Providing servant leadership style support to team - personify the SAFe approach
Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance
Identify and remove impediments to help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliver
Experience in managing professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
Lead, direct and review the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Assist team with a focus on policy, process, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day deliverables.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to attain DHS EOD
College degree (BS) in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
BS + 10 years of applicable experience, AA + 12 years of applicable experience, or 16 years of experience
Advanced Experience using Jira (Maestro Cloud implementation is a major plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated SCRUM team
Solid experience in incremental projects of varying workstreams using an SAFe framework approach (e.g., infrastructure, migrations, ITSM, etc.)
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong verbal and written communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
Understanding all elements of SDLC and SELC
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
SAFe Certifications - SSM, SP, POPM, or related
Experience leading SAFe infrastructure teams
Experience with various Project Management methodologies (Kanban, Waterfall, Scrum)
Experience supporting Federal government projects
Experience supporting modernization, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
