Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail and AWS products. The primary objective of QS organization is to provide manual software testing support. A Senior Associate, Quality Services will execute test instructions for one or more features of the product. They will have opportunity to learn changes to the product and gain conceptual understanding of the work flow.Roles & Responsibilities:1. Understand and execute instructions to test one or more device / application features2. Contribute to training, knowledge sharing sessions on areas they work with the team3. Experience unblocking peers when they need help4. Identify any gaps in operating procedures / task steps and suggest changes5. Deliver high quality meeting deadlines6. Ensure compliance and follow all applicable policies for securing confidential information.7. Learn conceptually the flow of work related to the project

Key job responsibilities

1. Understand and execute instructions to test one or more device / application features

2. Contribute to training, knowledge sharing sessions on areas they work with the team

3. Handle queries raised by peers and help unblocking when they need help

4. Identify any gaps in operating procedures / task steps and suggest changes

5. Deliver high quality meeting deadlines

6. Ensure compliance and follow all applicable policies for securing confidential information.

7. Learn conceptually the flow of work related to the project

A day in the life

A Senior Associate in Quality Services organization

1. would be required to execute test cases and act as a point of contact for mid-sized, straightforward components and features.

2. should review incoming test cases for new features and classify them into regression and new feature suites and also maintain test suite up to date based on feature changes.

3. will be required to raise defects (per the guidelines defined) and own bugs until closure.

4. should perform defect analysis, help prioritize and escalate issues in his components, impact the quality of assigned components and features

5. contribute to improvements in test processes, communication, or key project metrics (e.g. throughput, quality).

6. should provide floor support for DA I queries and unblock testing, spot training needs and begin to mentor DA I.

About the team

An Associate, Quality Services performs manual test execution of documented task instructions. They produce accurate test results meeting daily targets, adhering to defined processes.

Basic Qualifications

1-3 year of work experience, minimum 1 year of experience on any testing· Experience reporting any deviations / bugs from their quality experience· Experience in sharing knowledge gained with peers· Familiarity using computer and software· Experience usage of any gadgets or devices· Good communication skills, detailed oriented and be a team player· Capability to follow defined processes and adhere to policies
