Leidos Principal Program Scheduler in Arlington, Virginia

The Leidos Innovation Center is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for a DoD Earned Value Management program. This role coordinates with Cost Analysts, Finance Management, Program Management, Control Account Managers, and Customers to develop and maintain an IMS. This role reports through the Sector Scheduling Manager and the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE).The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training and surveillance for Leidos.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week onsite support from Arlington - VA. Selected candidate is expected to live within commuting distance to Arlington - VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply scheduling theory to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts in compliance with scheduling best practices and applicable standards such as EVM standard EIA-748 and the Leidos Earned Value Management System Description (EVMSD).

  • Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of project scheduling experience. Additional years of project scheduling experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have experience using Microsoft Project

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.

  • Must possess an understanding of advanced scheduling theory (e.g. PASEG) including experience with:

  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based)

  • schedule status processes

  • schedule health assessment (e.g., 14-Point Analysis)

  • resource loading/leveling and management

  • cost and schedule integration

  • baseline change control processes

  • project risk and opportunity integration

  • schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, SV, SPI etc.)

  • Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)/Monte Carlo Analysis and tools

  • Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment with Cost Analysts, PMs, CAMs.

We are pleased to offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus to the selected candidate. We also offer $3000 referral bonus for this role.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
