Paralegal Support

Job Description Summary: D&G is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Headquarters. CISA is the Nation’s risk advisor, working with partners to defend against today’s threats and collaborating to build more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (2) years’ experience performing analysis and technical editing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This role will contribute to the overall success of CISA’s mission. This role will work closely with CISA leadership, lawyers, and subject matter experts. Duties include:

  • Support CISA’s Office of Chief Counsel Litigation and Investigation division as a paralegal.

  • Provide litigation support to CISA attorneys on matters before the MSPB, EEOC, FLRA, and OSC.

  • Provide litigation support to CISA attorneys on civil litigation in federal court.

  • Assist CISA attorneys with discovery and disclosure management, including, but not limited to, by maintaining digital and hard copy repositories for documentary evidence, reviewing documents for responsiveness, redacting documents, organizing files, and preparing documents for production.

  • Performs other paralegal tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree 1-2 years’ experience as a paralegal and/or paralegal certificate.

  • Experience working on discovery in Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) or civil litigation cases is preferred.

  • Experience working with large-scale database tools (preferred).

  • High degree of competence using Microsoft suite tools (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Experience supporting multiple directorates in a large organization

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Current DHS suitability or ability to obtain a NACI level clearance..*

    Location:

  • Remote/Hybrid

  • One Day a week on-site in Arlington, VA.
