Network Manager

Location- Arlington, Va

Clearance- Top Secret

This program requires US Citizenship.

Responsibilities:

Oversee ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and support, including Campus Area Network (CAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) operations.

Ensure all network devices are securely configured and tested prior to installation on the NCR LAN. Regularly update network devices with vendor patches, security patches, operating system upgrades, firmware upgrades, and new security configurations.

Perform periodic backups and test backups to ensure the ability to recover mission-critical information. Monitor communications from various Government agencies for applicable directives, including Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), Cyberspace Task Orders (CTOs), Cyber Network Defense (CND) Directives, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) releases.

Develop and maintain site-specific equipment inventory and configuration, including as-built diagrams, schematics, and rack space layouts.

Manage a variety of end-point security products such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Host-Based Security Solution (HBSS), and Tanium.

Administer the NGB NCR NEC portion of DODIN-A and DODIN-A-SIPR, including routers, firewalls, switches, network appliances, storage devices, print servers, end-user devices, and Multi-Function Devices

(MFDs).

Administer the Organizational Unit (OU) within the NG Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Domain.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices, Army, and local policies and regulations for AD operations and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or IAM Level III certification.

ITIL Foundation Level Certification.

Minimum of five years of experience managing network services for a similar network to that of the current ARNG NGB NCR NEC environment.

Five years of experience operating and maintaining network services for Continuity of Operations (COOP) sites

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate / Range: $45/hr- $60/hr

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
