ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring an IT Controls Senior Analyst to support a high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this client-facing role, you’ll apply your expertise in DoD and Army financial management to drive success in a fast-paced environment, supporting audit success and contributing to mission-critical financial operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to leverage technology to enhance deliverables are essential. LOCATION
Arlington, VA (Hybrid)
WHO YOU ARE
Active SECRET (or higher) clearance
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or field directly related to the position
Professional Certification of one of the following: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM); Project Management Professional (PMP); or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
10 years of experience with federal financial management
4 years of federal accounting experience
Strong background in internal controls and/or ITGC
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 25% based on Client requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend business process sprints and provide subject matter expertise regarding SAP IT security control design.
Experience performing SAP analyses utilizing an internal Risk Navigator tool, including: a. SOD Rulesets b. Role Design c. ITGC configurations d. Application Controls e. Emergency Access.
Provide expertise on modules/applications/tools to support S4/HANA On-premises IT security (authentication, SIEM, interface file processing, audit logging, etc.)
Identify IT control gaps in DOD legacy systems that would impact auditability and compliance; make recommendations for future state control design.
