The Role

In your role as an Industry X Capital Projects/Infrastructure Practitioner, Consultant within our Industry X team, you’ll work on project delivery in specific industry segments and help our clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital moves into the core of industry where virtual and physical converge. You’ll help our clients transform their core operations and enable them to pivot to new products & services, experiences, and business & operating models. The focus of this role will be on digital reinvention of value chains across the capital projects delivery lifecycle for multiple industries. The Work:

In your role within our Industry X team, you’ll work within our Engineering & Manufacturing practice, supporting digital transformation for capital projects, engineering, and manufacturing across industries.

As an Industry X Project Controls Consultant, you will:

  • Support the strategies for growth and value creation within Industry X

  • Become a champion of Industry X integrated workforce solutions, tools, and platforms

  • Help clients adopt to new digital processes and tools and infuse project controls best practices

  • Gain experience with Accenture’s ecosystem partners

  • Work within engagement teams to build the strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained

  • Gain knowledge in Accenture Delivery Methods to support consistent project delivery based on industry leading practice

  • Break down processes into logical components and construct clear reasoning and analyses

  • Good ability to translate strategic initiatives and concepts into business solutions

  • Ability to work within an agile delivery environment

  • Strong customer journey analytics skills and insight generation

  • Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations

  • Excellent communication, analytics, and organizational skills

    Here’s what you need

  • Minimum 3 years for Capital Projects, Infrastructure and/or Asset Turnarounds, Industry experience in Data Center experience

  • Minimum 3 years of process and tools in managing project cost, schedule, issues, risks, resources and governance

  • Minimum 3 years of knowledge of Project Controls environment and related software including Microsoft applications, Oracle Construction and Engineering Suite (i.e. Oracle Primavera), Hexagon PPM, E-Builder, Procore, Copperleaf, PowerBI and Tableau

    Preferred Skills

  • You have consulting and/or field experience in digital manufacturing, operations, engineering, project management, or project controls

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience delivering digital experience projects as part of a cross-functional team

  • Expertise in Energy, Chemical Process or O&G process industry sectors and understanding of the business drivers and requirements of that industry

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
