The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:
RTX is seeking an experienced ESG Regulatory Compliance Program Manager for its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program management office (PMO) within the Office of the Corporate Secretary in Legal, Contracts and Compliance. Reporting to the ESG PMO lead, this position will play a critical role at RTX in ensuring compliance with global ESG-related regulations.

The ESG PMO is responsible for driving execution of the ESG program work streams, including:
Program: establishing and maturing ESG processes and controls, assisting Business Units and functions to integrate ESG priorities into strategic planning, monitoring emerging regulatory requirements, peer reporting and market environment, and facilitating compliance readiness with ESG-related regulations;
Performance: ensuring goal roadmaps and/or milestone plans for priority projects are established to advance performance and metric reporting, and monitoring performance against such roadmaps and/or milestone plans; and
Reporting: driving stakeholder engagement on ESG reporting and, working with Corporate Communications and other functions, enhancing the annual voluntary ESG report and other ESG-related disclosures, responses to stakeholder inquiries and requirements, and analyses of third-party reports and ratings.
The ESG PMO works with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the enterprise as well as manages, as necessary, outside resources with specific ESG expertise or knowledge. The ESG PMO collaborates with the cross-functional ESG Council and regularly provide updates to the ESG Steering Committee made up of Senior Leadership Team executives.
What You Will Do
Monitor and assess proposed ESG-related laws in countries where RTX has a business presence
Facilitate compliance readiness projects across corporate functions and Business Units, including developing and implementing action plans
Develop and deliver training on ESG-related laws
Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESG-related policies, standard work, guidance, templates, and other documentation
Assist in the collection of data to ensure compliance with regulatory disclosure requirements
Support ESG Controller in managing internal processes to ensure required information and metrics for disclosure is gathered in accordance with properly designed policies, procedures and controls
Assist with the preparation of compliance reports
Develop presentations and other updates to senior leadership
Manage outside counsel and vendors engaged on ESG regulatory compliance matters
Work with RTX digital teams to ensure adequate software and digital tools are in place to facilitate reporting

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or a Masters degree in a related field and minimum 7 years prior experience.
Candidates with a juris doctor degree are welcome to apply (this is not a practicing attorney position).
Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Environmental, health and safety; program and/or project management; legal; regulatory; policy or contracts.
Significant project manager and stakeholder management experience working with cross-functional teams on complex programs, projects and transactions preferred.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance and their significance to ESG, as well as exposure to ESG areas and a strong desire to gain a deeper understanding of them preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations and support the development of compliance plans to meet these requirements.
Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with multiple levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with peers, internal clients and external customers.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presenting and writing skills.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
A bility to learn quickly, build relationships, influence others, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Well-organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload (multiple projects at once) and drive issues to timely conclusion, provide timely responses, and set/manage deadline expectations.
Ability to identify and work proactively and strategically in creatively resolving issues.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Previous experience as a project manager and stakeholder management experience.
Previous corporate governance and compliance experience, relative to ESG, as well as exposure to ESG areas.
Previous experience analyzing and interpreting laws and regulations and support the development of compliance plans to meet these requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
Juris Doctor Degree, though this is not a practicing attorney position.
Previous experience working with cross-functional teams on complex programs, projects and transactions.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
