The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronic Engineer to support DARPA's Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). The ACO collaborates with military services to address critical national security challenges by developing innovative architectural solutions. These solutions combine emerging technologies with new warfighting constructs and are validated through modeling, simulation, and extensive experimentation to establish new doctrines, operational concepts, and integrated capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems and equipment for ACO initiatives.

  • Lead comprehensive research to address complex national security challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies into innovative warfighting constructs.

  • Validate architectural solutions through rigorous modeling, simulation, and experimentation.

  • Provide technical leadership and innovation in support of DoD programs.

  • Active TS/SCI

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR or similar requirements.

  • At least seven (7) years, the individual supported research and development (R&D) DoD programs.

  • Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability of make decisions independently on R&D engineering problems and methods, and of resolve important questions and of plan and coordinate work.

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices for each lead of the four functional areas (Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration).

  • At least three (3) years of experience working in DARPA or similar organization is highly desirable.

  • Experience in support of DARPA requirements may be applied in lieu of experience with C4ISR requirements.
