Amazon Digital Marketing Manager, AWS Segments Marketing in Arlington, Virginia

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on a hunt for a Digital Marketing Manager to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of how AWS connects with key customer segments.

This role is ideal for a data-driven digital marketer with a passion for developing sophisticated targeting, segmentation, and user experience personalization strategies for key stages of the customer lifecycle. Your work will be crucial in supporting our teams gain deeper understanding in our marketable customer database, model audience segments and set up relevant customer cohorts using the latest marketing technology solutions to drive personalized experiences across channels, ultimately maximizing the ROI of marketing investment in customer acquisition and growth.

With a deep understanding of UI/UX, analytics, responsive design, web and email marketing strategies, you’ll continuously enhance the digital audience journey for senior decision-makers. You’ll also work with third-party digital experience tools and cross-functional teams to implement new capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across AWS to implement new marketing technology capabilities and feature upgrades on AWS digital channels to optimize audience journeys and continously improve the customer experience.

  • Handle integrations between website properties, CRM, customer data platforms, and marketing automation systems, such as Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, and Marketo.

  • Implement necessary tracking mechanisms and analyze data patterns to gain a deeper understanding of customer behavior.

  • Support and enable campaign teams in utilizing marketing technology and tools to raise the bar of our customer marketing programs, and share best practices around audience targeting, segmentation, and personalization.

  • Articulate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, and implement data-driven optimization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting

  • Proven experience in audience management, customer lifecycle, email marketing, or CRM management, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills to handle complex workflows.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments to drive joint initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Expertise in automation, and campaign management tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce).

  • Experience working in the cloud industry

  • Experience working in global teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
