The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Customer Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the customer in developing comprehensive requirement documents to support mission needs.

  • Act as the single point of contact for customer requests, queries, and needs related communications in support of the customer mission.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas and develop well planned schedules to ensure seamless execution of projects.

  • Interact with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (Telecommunications, Secure Comms, System and Network Engineers, and Business Management) to ensure customer requirements are properly developed and achieved.

  • Facilitate the upkeep and repair of IT equipment at customer sites.

  • Perform periodic inspections of information systems to validate operational status.

  • Interact with new and established customers to capture and validate mission requirements.

  • Facilitate the compilation of site survey data, develop project plans, and provide recommendations for implementation and delivery.

  • Develop concept of operations for customers.

  • Provide end-user and senior executive level training and other briefings.

  • Provide exercise support by observing procedures and aiding when required.

  • Maintain availability of critical user environments by working with internal functional groups to coordinate direct technical support.

  • Oversee implementation of the following documents for government review: Inter-Service Support Agreement, funding memorandums, and other agreements in support of the mission.

  • Draft briefings and talking points for meetings with interagency participants, critical infrastructure protection, mission assurance, and defense support to civil authorities and other mission spaces.

  • Obtain photos, facility layouts, building floor plans, and applicable drawings associated with site locations.

  • May be required to work beyond typical work times to include on-call, recall, and/or standby.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and ability to adapt to changing technology

  • Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer

  • Ability to travel (about 5-10%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region; other travel locations may be required as well.

  • Experience with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project and Visio.

  • Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Clearance Required:

  • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Understanding of ITIL or other ITSM models
