Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting (gov con) and consulting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a controller role. This position involves overseeing financial management, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to government regulations and manage financial risks associated with contracts.
Consulting Support: Partner with consulting teams to track and report on project financials effectively.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial operations for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial performance and address any concerns proactively.
Require Experience:
2-3 years in a controller role, ideally within the government contracting sector.
Strong Financial Management, compliance, and risk management skills.
Experience with Unanet is a must.
Preferred Experience:
CPA or equivalent certification.
Education & Training:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Salary Range:
$140,000-$165,000
Salary commensurate with experience.
