Serco Communications Specialist in Arlington, Virginia

Position Description

We're looking for a communication and multimedia specialist to join our Facilities and Asset Management Group. In this role, you will get a chance to enrich the Practice and provide innovative communication and marketing to our broad customer base. You will directly support a customer program with communications that enable a large organizational change management program. We are proud that all our customers are referenceable. We are growing and need bright, energetic, and engaged members for this exciting Team.

Your excellent customer service, communication and analysis skills will be crucial in providing our clients with world class service.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide customer support with organizational communications using multiple channels.

  • Use graphic design software such as Adobe Software to include Creative Cloud, Photshop, InDesign to support assigned communication /multimedia tasks.

  • Gather multiple requirements with minimal guidance and produce initial versions of documents

  • Compose newsletters for wide distribution including creation of newsletter content

  • Organize complex tasks and meet deadlines

  • Work collaboratively within small teams

  • Use your knowledge of MS 365, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Maintain retrievable content library

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, multimedia, graphics, or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience.

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Federal Financial Organization Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required).

  • A talent for Problem-Solving and a willingness to master new graphic, marketing or communication techniques

  • Must be able to work with all skill and interest levels

  • Desire to grow and learn

  • Ability to travel 5 - 10%

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Consistently updating task tracking system and knowledge base

  • Staying current with trends relating to technology and subject matter applicable to the job

  • Valuing and protecting company, colleague, and customer data
