This role is remote reporting to the Texas Health Resources Corporate Offices at 612 E Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011. The role is Exempt (salaried), full-time, 40 hours weekly, and Monday-Friday.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • Working knowledge of healthcare building codes, A/E and construction contracts, medical technology, and job cost accounting.

  • Three (3) years of Architectural, Interior Planning, Design or Engineering is required.

  • CADD; Windows; Excel; and CAFM experience.

  • Must have ability to lead multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

What You’ll Do

Project Setup/Planning Management - The successful candidate will lead the preparation of all project budgets and work with the entity departments and user groups to assess needs and finalize project scope. Work closely with entity finance staff to create capital budget plans submissions to the THR capital budgeting process. The successful candidate will lead the planning and design process for projects to ensure the original project objectives are met. Drive the design process to keep the project on time and within its originally approved budget.

Project Budgeting – The successful candidate will lead the "job cost accounting" for all projects. Create the original budget and establishes cost codes, reviews and approves all contracts, change orders, and invoices. Creates cost reports for leadership.

Vendor Management - The successful candidate will lead the construction process for multiple ongoing projects. Negotiate all contract change orders with contractors. Establishes projecting phasing plans with hospital leadership in order to minimize and control negative impacts to ongoing hospital operations.

Project Management - The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the efforts of various departments and user groups involved in the project. This includes hospital engineering, security, infection control, etc. Also manages the efforts of THR System Services departments (Supply Chain, IT, etc.) to ensure their work is timely and is coordinated with the other project disciplines.
