Paralegal

Fast-paced, high volume department is looking for top skilled Paralegal. Is that you?

Work location: The position is hybrid, with the physical office located at 612 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76011.

Work hours: Full time, Monday through Friday

Here’s What You Need

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

Associate's Degree Preferred

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience

3 Years Experience as a paralegal in contract preparation, administration and management, including reviewing and understanding of legal contracts, terms, and conditions required or

5 Years Experience as a paralegal in contract preparation, administration and management, including reviewing and understanding of legal contracts, terms, and conditions is preferred

2 Years Experience in health care preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Paralegal Texas Paralegal Certification Upon Hire Required

Skills

Significant experience with drafting, reviewing and negotiating many different types of contracts.

Must understand technical legal terminology.

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word. Knowledge of word processing software and legal documents.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be detail oriented.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues.

Solution oriented.

What You Will Do

Contract Development:

Prepares and reviews a broad range of legal contracts.

Facilitates communication with contracting parties and end users.

Creates, negotiates, and incorporates contract amendments to accommodate scope changes.

Manages contracts in accordance with agreed upon business procedures.

Handles and resolves differences with vendors and customers in contract negotiation discussions.

Contract Administration:

Maintains strict confidentiality as appropriate.

Provides effective record keeping ensuring that all contract documents are readily accessible.

Performs periodic reviews for contract management compliance.
