The Manufacturing Systems Engineer delivers hands-on technology and automation solutions to a wide range of businesses including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, construction, health care and government. Contribute to TMACand#x2019;s wide array of services that accelerate profitable growth by developing and improving profits, products, processes, technologies and people..Complete projects in the areas of electromechanical design, prototype manufacturing, assembly and testing for self-directed engineering projects.Participate in customer interviews and requirement-gathering sessions to prepare proposals, assessments, and scopes of work to deliver results.Deliver and execute customer projects, report project results, and follow upwith customers.Create, manage, and follow a project timeline to ensure timely project completion to deliver the software/electrical engineering aspects of a feature or product.Create detailed reports for customers as required.Interpret common details from specification sheets for testing and develop drawings for well-defined product features.Develop an understanding of predictive modeling and ensure test requirements are documented.Conduct the specification of hardware and software components to implement suitable solutions in industrial applications for TMAC customers.Perform solution domain research and conceptual design functions. Carry out testing on standard features or products and coordinate external testing as required.Identify design flaws using data analysis and validate features by helping buildprototypes.Develop baseline system documentation that includes system designs, build procedures, requirement documents, testing procedures, software code, and system knowledge base.Develop processes and tools used to support analysis and testing of product functionality and performance.Select appropriate parts and evaluate the essential details of materials andtechniques used in production.Assist with supplier scouting and negotiation on behalf of TMAC customers to ensure project milestones are met in a timely manner.Present or attend technical sessions (virtual and in-person) and promotional events related to product group offerings.Continuously maintain and improve expert technical competency in relevant technical fields.Performs other duties as assigned..Bachelorand#x2019;s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) or related field.Six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing (or related) environment with a strong understanding of parts design, parametric modeling, rapid prototyping, and drawing reading.Experience using CAD software is required.Intermediate level experience with shop tools and inspection equipment (dial calipers, micrometers, etc.).Experience as a mechatronics/controls engineer with RandD product design and development experience in a manufacturing (or related) environment.Experienced with the design and integration of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, IPCs, industrial robots, and cobotsExperienced with creating/reading/checking piece part, sub assembly, assembly drawings for fabrication and assembly ranging from small assembles to assemblies with 1000and#x2019;s of components.Preferred Programming/Software Languages and Tools:SensorPush, Swift, Opto22, Monnit, JigSpace, Power Automate, AI Builder, Python, SQL, ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, Midjourney, CAD Software Experience (including SolidWorks, Fusion360, Unigraphics, Creo, AutoCAD, or RoboDK), and Google Suite.
