Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. in Arlington, Texas

Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. for the PAC-3 Program Manufacturing Engineering team.. Our team supports all aspects of manufacturing and assembly of the PAC-3 missile through make sites and external suppliers. This work is essential for the program to execute current contract requirement as well as capture future business for the program. The position will serve as a Manufacturing Engineering point of contact to the other functions. Frequent communication and collaboration with other disciplines including Design Engineering, Production Operations, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Production Planning and Control, Contracts, Master Planning, and Program Management are required. Experience building positive relationships, communicating across functional and physical boundaries, managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety is critical for the role.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer, Sr., you will be primarily focused on PAC-3 MSE Make/Buys, MESOWs, BOEs and leading proposal efforts in general.. Your responsibilities will include:

• Build proposals, MESOWs, and BOEs ensuring that PAC-3 customer needs are met.

• Present proposal packages to executive audiences, representing the ME organization

• Effectively collaborate with other Manufacturing Engineers, Production Operations, Program Mgmt, and Financial Mgmt stakeholders

• Leverages data analytics to make informed decisions and build continuous improvement solutions

• Foster customer relations, building rapport and confidence between Prod Ops, Program and Customer.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and production personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

This position typically requires 5 years of professional experience.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

•Ability to obtain Security Clearance. An Interim Secret is required to start.

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline

•Manufacturing Background

•Proficiency in MS Office tools

•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

•Process Improvement experience

•Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical process issues

Desired Skills:

•Proposal experience

•SAP experience and/or an MRP production control system

•PAC-3 experience

•Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

•Experience presenting to executive audiences

•Experience using Data Analytics to optimize processes

•Experience establishing/improving Manufacturing Build Sequences

•Experience with complex missile subassemblies and Bill of Materials

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
