Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Arlington, Texas

Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes and demonstrate proficiency in ADP and Concur systems. This role will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments, and maintaining effective vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, including data entry, coding, and posting of invoices into the accounting system.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all invoices are properly authorized and processed according to company policies.

  • Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and ensure timely payment of invoices.

  • Use ADP for payroll processing, ensuring accurate integration of AP and payroll data.

  • Utilize Concur for expense reporting and reimbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues, manage inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.

  • Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all AP records are up to date and assist with accruals and reporting.

  • Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation for audit purposes.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and smooth financial operations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance role.

  • Proficiency in ADP and Concur systems is required.

  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, general ledger, and financial statements.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
