Aerotek is hiring Maintenance Technician Level 1 (First Shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyors and facilities.

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and conveyor systems including spiral conveyors, robotics, overhead conveyors, motors, drives, and gearboxes.

• Proficiently handle welding, mechanical fundamentals, diagnostics, and tool usage.

• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and HVAC.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose MHE systems and introduce PLC mapping and training.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics on MHE systems.

• Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor preventive maintenance, and MHE systems.

• Knowledge of automation, robotics, and preventive maintenance.

• Skills in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and ABB systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience preferred for Level 2 and above.

• Level 1 requires schooling and a co-op or 2 years of experience without schooling.

• Combination of technical degree or certification with experience is acceptable.

• Ability to work independently and maintain self-accountability.

• High School diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

Shift information: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (overtime as needed). Dress code: Jeans or work pants without holes, no leggings, no cut-off shirts, appropriate t-shirts or polos. The facility is brand new with a 'all hands on deck' mentality to get up and running quickly. It is a clean, large, highly automated, temperature-controlled facility featuring fully automated pick systems and conveyors running throughout. Heights can not be an issue as some conveyors are 30+ feet up. Equipment includes spiral conveyors, overhead conveyors, robotics, bailers, loading dock stations, and wire-guided forklift tracks.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
