Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to work in Sibley County, MN. This role is pivotal in the tech industry, offering a contract employment opportunity where you will provide essential support for desktop hardware and software issues. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth running of computer systems and enhancing user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance related to computer systems, software, and hardware

• Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, and isolate problems to implement solutions

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software

• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems

• Handle databases and ensure their smooth operation

• Assist users in navigating and operating O365 and Windows 10

• Maintain Active Directory and manage user access

• Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware and configuration management

• Offer Deskside Support to users and ensure the efficient operation of desktop hardware.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support environment

• Excellent customer service skills with ability to effectively manage and resolve issues

• Strong sense of urgency and responsibility in handling tasks and delivering service

• Technical proficiency in Active Directory, MECM/SCCM, MDT, O365, and Windows 10

• Solid understanding of network, server, and database concepts

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to independently prioritize and resolve technology activities for assigned locations

• Skilled problem-solving abilities through the use of technical tools, experience, and creativity

• Ability to work cross-departmentally in identifying and resolving complex issues.
