Actalent Industrial Engineer in Arlington Heights, Illinois

Job Description: Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of business operations, including production planning, scheduling, MRP, ATP, and capacity planning, as well as a thorough understanding of Product Data Management and its impact on Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control the factory and line layouts, including line configuration for optimal production output and efficiency.

  • Manage material process flow, implement line balancing, and conduct capacity analysis to evaluate labor costs.

  • Lead multiple projects and support engineers with their product launches.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for existing production processes.

  • Generate and maintain procedures, work instructions, and forms, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Train and present information to employees as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

  • Exposure to Pro-Engineer and other solid modeling applications.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.26
