Position can start in December or in January.
NOCAC Head Start Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team and make a positive impact on young minds! If you have a genuine love for children, a creative spirit, and a desire to inspire lifelong learning and growth, we want to hear from you.
This position is a classroom position *that will work to support teaching team at our *Northwest State Child Development Center Head Start classroom. This position also assists in driving the small bus in order to help the preschoolers get to school. Obtaining a CDL will be a requirement. NOCAC pays for and provides all CDL training.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8 - 8.5 hours during the day), 34/hrs weekly. Summers off.
Hourly Pay is based on applicants with a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- $16.29/hr
- Once CDL is obtained = $17.86/hr
If you have a CDA or college diploma, pay rates are higher.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year working in an Early Childhood Education program, preferred.
- Must be able to stand for periods at a time
- Must be able to work in a classroom environment that is physically flexible to the needs of children ages 3-5.
- Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable through NOCAC's vehicle insurance carrier. Must be over the age of 21.
