Hiring Maintenance Electricians - Up To $31/HR!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a variety of food-grade equipment, performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, as well as proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair food-grade equipment including rollers, grinding machines, mixing tanks, batch tanks, dumpers, piston fillers, filling machines, chain drives, cutting equipment, and conveyors.

• Perform 80/20 electrical versus mechanical maintenance on machines.

• Change bearings, sprockets, chains, troubleshoot pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, valves, sensors, pumps, and machine realignments.

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing up to 480v single phase and three phase.

• Troubleshoot PLCs, specifically series 5 and 500.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Lift up to 50lbs as required.

• Perform general shop clean-up and building maintenance as needed.

Work Environment

This position is based in a food manufacturing facility that produces various canned goods such as Vienna Sausage, Wendy's chili, and LaChoi noodles. The role includes a .75 shift premium for both 2nd and 3rd shifts. Expect to work 5 days a week, with one weekend per month, and opportunities to work additional hours if desired. This is a direct hire position.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00
