Axis Engineering Group, LLC Field Service Technician in Archbold, Ohio

This position is based at our Perrysburg, OH location but requires on-site reporting to a client in Archbold, OH.
Responsibilities: - Address client inquiries and concerns, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships. - Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLCs to automate machine functions. - Create and program HMIs, diagnose, and fix user interface issues. - Identify and rectify electrical issues within machines and systems. - Respond to service calls, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on-site. - Maintain positive client relationships, gather feedback, and provide ongoing support. - Design and wire control panels, ensuring organization, safety, and industry standards. - Verify sensor and actuator functionality, oversee system startup and calibration. - Offer continuous support through on-site visits and remote assistance. - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology OR 2 years of practical experience with mechanical systems and industrial controls. -Proficiency with multimeters and other test equipment.
