JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Risk Mitigation, Process Improvement and Automation Analyst will be responsible for leading the self-testing of internal control frameworks to ensure timely detection of issues, including non-performance, insufficient evidence of control performance, and outdated control activities. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for leading initiatives in process improvement, risk mitigation, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working with cross functional teams to help implement solutions that leverage technology to automate workflows and mitigate potential risks. This position will be located at our Downtown Appleton, WI office (222 W College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and complete areas of internal control walkthroughs, self-testing, documentation and provide recommendations for improvements based on the findings. Assist business leads in reviewing internal control process flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute risk mitigation plans. Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, including the use of Lean principles to streamline operations. Lead automation projects, including the selection and deployment of appropriate technologies to enhance productivity and accuracy. Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of process changes and automation efforts, adjusting as necessary. Provide regular reports on progress and outcomes of process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert on process optimization and risk management within the Energy division.
