JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will develop and lead initiatives to deliver value added financial analyses for the U.S. Energy division of U.S. Venture. This individual will prepare and analyze reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash flow, and other financial results and make recommendations to improve financial results. The Senior Manager of FP&A will interact with and advise the management team, sales, and operations managers on the financial impact of operational decisions. This individual will provide reports that measure performance against business plans and budgets, provide insight into business trends and opportunities, and make recommendations for operational improvements, and increasing division profitability. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making regarding strategic initiatives, capital investments, and long-term growth. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team. Champion the FP&A effort amongst the other Accounting leads within the Team. Collaborate with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support. Champion continuous improvement of financial forecasting and budgeting process. Liaise with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations. Maintain Anaplan volumes model, division specific reporting and continued model building function, including subject matter expert for Anaplan problem-solving as it may arise. Actively analyze and assist Treasury in cash flow trends to ensure Company appropriately manages debt position.
