Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

This role involves re-drawing existing products in SolidWorks to help reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in mechanical design, specifically sheet metal design, and must be proficient in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

  • Re-draw existing products using SolidWorks to reduce costs

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and efficiency

  • Maintain detailed and organized design documentation

  • Identify and implement design improvements for cost reduction

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks

  • Experience in sheet metal design

  • Technical degree in Mechanical Design

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work well both individually and in a team setting

Work Environment

The work environment includes using SolidWorks software extensively and collaborating with a team of designers. The role may require occasional adjustments to work hours to meet project deadlines. The attire is typically business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
