UTILITY SALES & SERVICE Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in APPLETON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Utility Sales & Service, Inc. is a rapidly growing manufacturer and service provider of high quality made aerial lift trucks in Appleton, WI. We recently have added another company, USSI Rentals, Inc. in Romeoville, IL, to our team. With our continued growth we are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement to our business processes, guiding product design and development, assisting in improving product quality, and be a technical resource to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, process orientated, is a teacher/coach, and has a strong desire to succeed in a team environment! Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor Responsibilities: Drive KPI improvement through development and improvement of business processes. Guide the Product Design team to create truck configurations and component parts that meet customer needs and are cost effective. Partner with the Supply Chain & Production teams to implement continuous improvement projects. Lead initiatives to standardize vehicle and system designs. Assist all business segments in resolving and eliminating product quality issues. Lead Capital Equipment justification, Maintenance and Facilities activities All other duties as assigned. Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor: Bachelor\'s degree from a four-year technical college or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or 5-8 years of related experience. Process development and improvement experience in the areas of manufacturing and overall business. Experience building and/or maintaining mobile equipment to include hydraulic design and/or diagnostics and electrical design and/or diagnostics. Ability to lead, coach, teach and develop team members. Strong organization and time management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Computer experience in a Windows environment is a must. Experience in Fusion360 software & SAGE ERP Systems is a plus.
