About This Opportunity JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician, Day Shift POSITION TYPE: Full time CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt STARTING PAY RATE:\$28.25 per hour. Increasing up to \$30.75 per hour in the first year, based on certifications and experience. * Day Shift, working every other weekend. YOUR FUTURE IS WITH FOREMOST! Help us make Wisconsin Cheese for some of the world\'s most recognized brands. We produce made-to-order, customized blends of Wisconsin cheese for food service and food processing applications. The Appleton plant produces around 400,000 pounds of mozzarella cheese per day, 3 million pounds of whey protein concentrate per month and receives about 2.4 million pounds of milk per day. JOB DUTIES: As a Maintenance Technician in Appleton, you\'ll be responsible for keeping manufacturing equipment in top working condition for our largest plant. Responsibilities include: Installing motors and pumps Stainless steel welding Maintaining ammonia refrigeration equipment Boiler operation Preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting Work with pneumatics, instrumentation, HVAC, record keeping, and more MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a general maintenance exam Willing to use a forklift (training is provided) Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations Must be detail oriented Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment Participation in team environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Food processing experience preferred, or experience maintaining manufacturing equipment Electro-Mechanical Technology degree or related education desired Experience with ammonia systems, welding, boilers, cooling towers, pumps and motors, electrical Able to read and understand standard operating procedures Prior PLC experience is helpful, programming and troubleshooting Knowledge of GMP\'s and OSHA is highly desirable Experience with single phase and three phase power BENEFITS: Foremost Farms offers some of the best benefits in the Fox Valley, because you and your family matter.
