Job Title: Assembler

We are currently hiring for Assemblers around the Anoka area. Currently we have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions available.

Job Description

• This company manufactures cooling systems and mild steel enclosures used in a variety of industries.

• Employees will be working with hand tools, power tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, riveting tools, air tools, and more.

• Opportunity to learn/ get certified in brazing

• In addition to assembly, employees will have to be comfortable cross training which could include testing, inspecting, and packaging units

• Employees will be standing throughout the shift and sometimes working individual as well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble cooling systems and mild steel enclosures used in a variety of industries.

• Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

• Follow blueprints to assemble complex cooling systems and steel enclosures.

• Learn brazing techniques for copper piping.

• Grind finished products to meet quality standards.

• Stand throughout the shift, working both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and follow blueprints.

• Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required, but a desire to get into manufacturing is important.

• 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.

• Knowledge or experience working with tools.

• Willing to submit to a background check (no drug test).

Work Environment

• The work takes place in a very large manufacturing environment with a high-speed pace, but it is not an assembly line.

• The environment is clean but can get hot in the summer as it is not temperature controlled.

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50
