Job Title: Assembler-20/hr

Job Description

We are looking for an assembler to join our team in the manufacturing of heating and cooling units. This role primarily focuses on assembling doors for the units, attaching hinges, and working with various hand and power tools to assemble and attach accessories. Additional responsibilities include working on the production line, packaging units, and assisting with building and making boxes. Candidates must be comfortable working in all areas, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required, but a desire to enter the manufacturing field is essential.

• 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.

• Experience in construction or using hand and power tools is advantageous.

• Must submit to a back ground check (no drug test).

• Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled, tobacco-free facility.

Work Environment

This position is in the Wallmount Department within a very large, high-speed manufacturing environment. It is not an assembly line, and employees will need to be open to moving around and helping in multiple areas. The facility is non-temperature controlled and tobacco-free. The role is for the 2nd shift with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed, potentially working as late as 1:00 AM.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.75/hr.
