Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Industrial Security Analyst/Principal Industrial Security Analyst 2/3 to support a fast-paced, high-profile portfolio of multiple classified programs. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: As the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO), provide direct support to and coordinate security activities with the program CPSO. Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, visitor control, etc.). Support security education classes and related briefings. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Understand government policy and directives to be able to apply solutions to complex tasks/challenges/assignments that are in compliance with policy. Participate in security compliance audits and self-inspections. Must be able to work directly with the customer to coordinate daily security activities.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph

  • In-scope investigation closed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.

  • Familiarity with the NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 704.

  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with customers, security peers and program management team members.

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience or master’s degree with at least three years of experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph

  • In-scope investigation closed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.

  • Familiarity with the NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 704.

  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with customers, security peers and program management team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with IC customers

  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion

  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledgeable of SIMS and DISS databases

  • Completion of ICD 705 training

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

Salary Range 2: $84,600 - $127,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
