The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a test engineer to analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. Test engineers are a vital part of our system engineering and development teams to ensure overall systems quality is maintained and all requirements are met. Our Test Engineers understand that testing is more than checking a box. Mission software needs to work in real-time and sometimes unpredictable environments, and at the same time be easily understood by end-users whose work relies on high quality, highly reliable systems. You will use the latest generation of testing capabilities that run continuously in a DevOps test environment.

You will support the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. You will work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration. You will provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW.

You will be part of an overall effort to provide life cycle services that include systems engineering, integration, software development, testing, configuration management and training development in the following functional areas: Analytics, Knowledge Management, Information Sharing & Malware Analysis. Responsibilities:

Must conduct unit, component, and integration testing activities to support systems integration to include:

  • Test documentation

  • Testing Strategy

  • Event Test Plans

  • Test Readiness Assessments

  • Test Results

  • Provide perfective, corrective, and adaptive software development.

  • Provide software upgrades, minor enhancements, and code augmentation to the operational products to simplify and optimize system performance.

  • Integrate product, system and subsystem Government-furnished software upgrades and enhancements.

  • Perform unit, component, product, integrated product, and product evaluation in live conditions and operational scenario evaluation testing. This also includes developing test procedures and developing special test code.

  • Perform regression testing of the products/system.

  • Develop and conduct informal software maintenance training.

  • Troubleshoot the software module, unit, subsystem, and system.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI with Poly

  • Five (5) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Desired:

  • Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
